DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Promote a positive overall impression of the property and provide the necessary service of ensuring clean and comfortable rooms for guests.
Responsible for cleaning assigned guest rooms in accordance to company standards to ensure the highest level of cleanliness.
Ensure prompt and professional delivery of guest requests.
Ensure cleaning equipment, machineries and tools are in good working conditions, maintained and operated correctly and deficiencies are reported for repair.Report maintenance issues and ensures it is acted on promptly.
Assist in monitoring daily operating supplies, inventory, requisition & delivery.
Demonstrate proper organization or placement of chemicals, linens, amenities and other supplies in Housekeeping pantries.
Report for duty punctually, in prescribed uniform & grooming standards.
Follow Occupational Health & Safety regulations.
Adhere to the Hotel’s security guidelines.
Responsible for cleaning guest rooms (i.e. occupied/departure/out of service/out of order) including respective pantries and floor corridors with guest landing to the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
Attends to any training offered.
Follows all cleaning standards as per the Hotel Standard operating procedures and as taught by trainers, maintaining the area arrangement specifications.
Executes weekly ibis Care room cleaning schedule and daily one room for deep cleaning.
Filling up of section sheet on regular basis and without fail. Reports all lost and found items of guests and ensure the items are properly handed over to the respective supervisor or desk as per the procedures.Storing the pantry with regular supplies and ensuring its cleanliness on regular basis.Ensures accurate inventory of room items or specified items whenever required.Does turn down service for all guest rooms in assigned area according to the procedures and reports.Keep his/her respective fire staircase and areas clean and free from all obstacles at all point of time.Assists for any help to other areas whenever requested by the department.Flexible to work in various shift timings and can be allocated in any areas including public area/floors/store/linen room or any other area whenever required.Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with the established company policies and procedures to achieve overall objective of this position.
